Coming into this weekend LSU’s goal against Ole Miss could be summarized in one word: sweep. And for the first time all season, the Tigers were able to sweep a conference weekend as LSU (36-20, 13-17) beat Ole Miss 9-3.
In what was surely Tommy White’s final game in Alex Box, he went deep twice and picked up a season-high five RBI. Four of those five came off a fourth inning grand slam that doubled LSU’s 4-0 lead to 8-0.

White then hit one final Tank to left field to lead off the sixth inning.
