LAS CRUCES, N.M. – For the second straight series finale, NM State baseball has eclipsed ten runs in the scoring column. Patience and plate discipline were key for NM State on Saturday as the Aggies notched 15 hits and drew ten walks in a 13-7 victory over California Baptist.
The Aggies opened the scoring in the first inning when scored on a wild pitch before California Baptist scored four unanswered runs.
In the bottom of the third inning, the Aggies got an RBI single from before lifted a sacrifice fly to center field, bringing NM State back within a run.
